Modern Love is a series of paintings exploring how certain qualities can be embodied and expressed through our intentions and actions in modern times.  

The six qualities are gentleness, gratitude, 

respectfulness, kindness, joyfulness and perseverance.  

I carefully selected the six qualities out of a deep personal belief in their value and relevance within our modern-day communities. 

Each quality is painted as a large-scale figure and presented within a diverse cultural, gendered, racial, multigenerational and abled lens of representation.  *** pictured, Kindness, detail***. (Work in Progress)
